Birth Doula

      Ante-Natal & Birth Support

  • Initially we will arrange a meeting together in your home. During this first visit we will get to know each other, discuss your needs and expectations and explore ways that I can help you as your Doula (This is usually between 24-28 weeks, or earlier if preferred).

  • During our second ante-natal meeting together we will discuss your needs and desires for birth. I can provide any support/information you need for each stage of your pregnancy, labour and birth to ensure you are fully prepared.

  •  I can research and source any information you need, providing articles, book suggestions etc. to give you all the information you need to make informed choices.

  • Usually two ante-natal appointments are required. However, if you feel you need more, we can arrange more meetings so you and your partner can feel fully prepared for labour.

Night Doula Package

When you first bring home your beautiful baby a full night’s sleep is so important. With this in mind, I would love to help parents with overnight support. Being a mum myself I understand what a difference it can make to a Mothers postnatal recovery and your family as a whole. Knowing your baby is being tended to will allow you to get some well-earned sleep.

Each overnight plan is tailored to suit the needs of the family. The sleep package includes:

● Personal consultation to discuss what your needs are
● Overnight home stay for 8 or 10 hours per visit
● Feeding, either bringing baby to mum for breastfeeding or I will bottle feed

● Change and soothe baby back to sleep
● On call text and phone support for additional support
● Checklists and referrals if required

The cost of this service is:

  • £20 per hour
